CalOptima recently appointed two new members to its board by the Orange County Board of Supervisors. Peter Agarwal of Citizens Bank in Fullerton was appointed to the Business seat formerly held by Ed Kacic, and Tricia Nguyen of the Vietnamese Community of Orange County clinic was appointed to the Community Clinics seat formerly held by Jim McAleer.

CalOptima’s Chief Medical Officer Dr. Trudy Carter recently announced her resignation after accepting the Chief Medical Officer position at LA Care. In recent months, Dr. Carter has led the development of CalOptima’s Duals program and collaborative discussions on same with the provider and member communities.
