HASC members are invited to attend a half-day program by the California Association of Physician Groups (CAPG) on bundled payments, Sept. 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The agenda will include a  status update on bundled payments, a look at strategic and financial considerations from the hospital and medical group perspectives, and implications for medical group/hospital relations.

The Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ Innovation Center launched a new initiative on Aug. 23 offering doctors, hospitals and other health care providers the opportunity to apply to participate in the Bundled Payments for Care Improvement initiative for regular Fee-for-Service Medicare beneficiaries.

The event will take place at the Los Angeles Downtown Marriott. The cost is $100 per person and includes lunch.
