For years now, HASC members have benefited from the comprehensive educational services for hospitals and health care professionals through an agreement with Flex Ed, which provides onsite education support for more than 45 hospitals in the HASC region.

Flex Ed offers hospitals various contract options that can save hundreds of thousands of dollars per year in payroll expenses through customizable flat-fee monthly services. Flex Ed provides access to more than 100 different instructors of all specialties, thereby helping to keep payroll expenses to a minimum while still having access to education professionals.

The HASC/Flex Ed partnership provides a 10 percent discount for the long-term, flat-fee monthly contract options for in-house, onsite education. There is also a 10 percent discount for hospitals that sign up strictly for individual classes. In addition, HASC continues to “private label” Flex Ed courses and make them available to the general membership in the HASC regions.

Several clinical and certification courses are offered by Flex Ed include. Additionally, a monthly contract includes customized classes developed as needed by the hospital; support for accreditation surveys and action plans; and coordination of needs assessments and educational plans, skills day, orientations, annual essential updates and more.
