Member hospitals from throughout the HASC region are invited to submit their nominations for the 8th Annual Hospital Hero Awards.

The event, scheduled for Nov. 8 at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, is produced by National Health Foundation (NHF) as a way to honor health care professionals dedicated to patient care and those who help create miracles for patients. It is an opportunity for hospitals to recognize the outstanding achievements that occur at the front line of care throughout the region.

Focusing on actions within the last 12 months, the Hospital Hero Awards honor outstanding direct patient care that goes above and beyond the call of duty. All members of the hospital family (medical, technology, clinical, administrative, volunteers) are eligible for the award.

Ads honoring the nominees can be purchased for the event tribute journal. Members and other companies can also elect to sponsor the event. All proceeds will benefit NHF, a tax-exempt organization dedicated to improving health care access for the underserved.
