Newly elected Supervisors Hilda Solis and Shiela Kuehl were sworn in this week as the newest members of the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors.

Solis and Kuehl replaced longtime Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky, who served 20 years, and Gloria Molina, who served 22 years on the Board, respectively. Both individuals were required to retire from the Board due to term limits.

Solis and Kuehl presided over their first meeting as supervisors on Dec. 2.
