Join us for Hospital Disaster Management Training, an in-depth two-day session that is a product of the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services Emergency Medical Services Agency’s Disaster Resource Center Program. Objectives

Participants will learn how to move beyond awareness and focus on operational strategies. At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• Identify triage priorities in disaster patients.
• Perform a role in the hospital command center and emergency department during disaster drill.
• Describe the health care facility’s role in a disaster.

Target Audience

This course has a broad approach, with both a clinical and non-clinical target audience that includes but is not limited to hospital administration, physicians, nurses, emergency care technicians, safety, security, facilities, mental health, ancillary, legal/risk management, human resources, educators, clinic and first receiver staff.

Registration

Course size limited. Pre-registration is required. There will be no on-site registration.

Course fee: $199 per student.

• Payable by credit card online 14 days prior to the program date.
• Cancellations will be accepted less a $25 processing fee until 14 days prior to the program date. NO REFUNDS after 14 days.
• Later cancellations and non-attending registrants will be invoiced for the entire registration fee.
• The registration fee does not transfer to another session or program.
• Registrations will not be confirmed until payment is received.
