There’s Still Time to Register for the 2022 HASC Annual Meeting, May 16-18
We are thrilled to convene members in person for the first time in three years. Please register and reserve your hotel rooms at your earliest convenience. The hotel block will sell out.
We are excited to announce two new breakout sessions as we chart The Path Forward:
Cherished Futures for Black Moms and Babies: A systems-change approach to reduce birth inequities among Black families in Los Angeles County
Cherished Futures for Black Moms & Babies is a multi-sector collaborative working to reduce Black infant deaths and improve patient experience and safety for Black families in Los Angeles County. This panel will discuss strategies to authentically elevate Black voices, identify recommendations to build an effective hospital-community partnership, and elevate the Cherished Futures model of multi-sector engagement to advance a systems change.
Brave New Community: Building a Transformed Health Workforce with an Equity Lens in a COVID World
Join key leaders in a discussion focused on strategies to build the health care workforce of the future in the context of today’s unprecedented challenges. We’ll examine equity-focused solutions to acute workforce shortages in a pandemic, how to build capacity to reach beyond clinical care in an increasing risk-based payment environment, and how health care and related sector leaders can come together to transform our institutions and the communities we serve.
Please register and reserve at your earliest convenience. You can also make reservations by calling 888-459-4991.
