Our hospitals answered the call early on by expanding their capacity to care for surging numbers of COVID-19 patients as the virus indiscriminately attacked our neighbors, our colleagues, and our loved ones.

County Department of Public Health’s Vaccine Preventable Disease Control Program, she shapes communications around one of Southern California’s most critical vaccination efforts of the past century.

L.A. County Offers Hospitals Food-pickup Service

Food recovery service Copia helps hospitals with food pickups that feed hungry neighbors by delivering surpluses to local partners.

Los Angeles County this month offers a bonus for hospitals — year-long memberships to the Copia food recovery service. The first 50 organizations that respond can use the service at no cost for the next 12 months.
