AGLH Leadership Training Slots Are Open
Presenters Rick Rawson (from left), Dora Barilla, Kevin Barnett and Susan Harrington pose at a Beverly Hospital AGLH session in 2019.
Health care leaders from the San Gabriel Valley are invited to attend a special Alignment of Governance and Leadership in Healthcare: Building Momentum for Transformation, or AGLH, online training event on Wednesday, Nov. 18.
The session for hospitals and health system leaders and board members runs from 1 to 3 p.m. and offers a unique perspective on population health, strategies to build institutional capacity and alignment, engaging diverse stakeholders to address social determinants, and ways organization board members can play roles in health care transformation.
Participating hospitals and health systems will complete an organizational self-assessment to identify areas of focus for potential innovations and opportunities for customized coaching and technical assistance.
The no-cost session is underwritten by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation and is presented as an ongoing partnership between The Governance Institute, the Public Health Institute, and Stakeholder Health. Dozens of AGLH sessions have been presented across the country.
