Allies for Another Seat: Women’s Leadership Conference Is Two Weeks Away
HASC’s Women in Health Care Leadership Conference takes place June 9 through 11 with event partner UCI Paul Merage School of Business.
Women leaders can serve as allies, mentors, friends and supporters of rising women — and diverse rising women — in organizations. At the upcoming conference, participants will learn ways this dynamic can support emerging careers:
- Women leaders foster a top-down solution to race conversations.
- They can provide language and effective responses to better equip employees.
- Female senior managers can increase unconscious bias awareness at all levels.
- They can demonstrate a commitment to foster an inclusive culture among all ranks.
- Female executives of color build trust around diversity initiatives — with the message that they deliver actual results.
The three-day online virtual event will also addresses internal factors that create barriers, both for women who serve in leadership roles as well as those seeking to advance their careers as leaders. This year’s conference is hosted by HASC and UCI Paul Merage School of Business.
