Annual Meeting Breakout Session
Offers Three Face-to-Face Credits
May 21’s ACHE face-to-face credit session is led by (from left) Dr. Leslie Zun, Howard J. Gershon and Dr. Richard Afable.
HASC is pleased to offer a special breakout session focused on creating access to behavioral health care at the Annual Meeting, taking place at the La Quinta Resort & Club on Thursday, May 21. Presented by behavioral health innovators Howard Gershon, Leslie Zun, MD, and Richard Afable, MD, attendees earn three ACHE face-to-face credits for completing the session.
The seminar is titled Behavioral Health Challenges, Strategies and Solutions: The Business Case for Meeting Community Needs. It presents proven strategies that can improve outcomes in your community — including reduced ED utilization, fewer inpatient readmissions and fewer non-value-added costs. Attendees will gain insights into how to better integrate these services into the overall health care delivery and financing system and collaborate more effectively with community partners outside health care.
Faculty:
