Annual Meeting Offers ACHE Face-to-Face Credits
Please join us for Better Together, HASC’s 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting. The breakout program offers three ACHE Face-to-Face credits. Members may register for the low fee of $150 prior to Feb. 1 and $195 thereafter.

Behavioral Health Challenges, Strategies and Solutions: The Business Case for Meeting Community Needs (1.5 ACHE Face-to-Face Credits) with Howard Gershon, FACHE, founder and principal, New Heights Group, and Richard F. Afable, MD, president and board chair, BeWellOC.
Learning from Community Investment Innovators: A Capstone Roundtable, with moderator Susan Harrington, president and executive director, Communities Lifting Communities, David Zuckerman, director of the Healthcare Anchor Network, Democracy Collaborative, and Elizabeth Trombley, MPH, upstream community health manager, Kaiser Permanente Southern California.
Possibilities, Probabilities and Creative Solutions: Breakthrough Thinking for Complex Environments (1.5 ACHE Face-to-Face Credits) with Kevin E. O’Connor, principal, Kevin E. O’Connor & Associates.
Engaging Clinicians and Making Them Champions for Cybersecurity with Christian Dameff, MD, emergency physician and medical director, cybersecurity, at UC San Diego, and Jeffrey Tully, MD, anesthesiologist, UC Davis.
Epidemiologist Larry Brilliant, MD will open the meeting with an informative and optimistic view of how we will prevail over the COVID-19 pandemic. Brilliant is best known for his work eradicating smallpox in the 1970s. Leon Logothetis, host of the Netflix series, The Kindness Diaries, now in its third season, will close the meeting with stories about his international adventures and lessons learned about sharing in a hard world.
Breakout topics under development for April’s event include behavioral medicine, thwarting cyber attacks from a medical perspective, and innovative investments to address social determinants of health — among other topics. Select breakouts will qualify for ACHE Face-to-Face Credits.
