Annual Meeting Speakers Are Announced
The HASC Annual Meeting planning team has announced the speaker lineup for this spring’s event, April 11-13 at the Park Hyatt Aviara in Carlsbad. The event’s theme is Big Potential — The Power of Inclusion.

Shawn Achor kicks off the 2018 speaker
list offering proven strategies for attaining improved employee
engagement and productivity. Scheduled for release in March,
Achor’s latest book, “Big Potential: How Transforming the
Pursuit of Success Raises Our Achievement, Happiness, and
Well-being” addresses the importance of collaboration to obtain
optimum results, and the highest levels of engagement and work
satisfaction.

David Gergen, CNN political analyst and
Harvard professor, will offer his view on what’s next from
Washington D.C. Gergen has served as a White House adviser to
four U.S. presidents from both sides of the aisle, including
Nixon, Ford, Reagan and Clinton.

Carmela Coyle, newly-appointed president and
CEO of CHA, will offer her outlook on public policy directions
in Washington D.C. and Sacramento.
- Ian Morrison, the noted health care futurist, will close the meeting with an entertaining and provocative synthesis of what we learned at the event and a look at where we go from here.
