April 1 Sees New California Workplace Violence Training Requirement
Effective April 1, all California hospitals and health care facilities must provide staff with workplace violence prevention training. Techniques for Effective Aggression Management, or TEAM, endorsed by HASC and the Hospital Council of Northern & Central California, provides easy, effective and award-winning training to keep your organization in compliance with these new regulations.
TEAM training and coursework is focused on situations health care workers are most likely to encounter and can be customized to meet each organization’s staffing, budget and risk profile, with the following format options:
- Instructor-Led Training: provides onsite, hands-on instruction
- E-Learning: offers a convenient format that fully trains your non-high-risk departments and beginning training for high-risk departments
- Train the Trainer: Provides an instructor who trains your key staff to deliver TEAM training — ideal for hospitals that want to conserve costs by collaborating on training
