Bittman to Headline May’s Annual Meeting
HASC is moving forward with its 2022 Annual Meeting planning — with Barry Bittman, MD (above) confirmed as opening speaker.
Bittman is a neurologist, and chief population health officer for the Inland Empire Foundation for Medical Care, as well as CEO at the Yamaha Music and Wellness Institute.
Mark your calendars for May 16-18 at the Park Hyatt Aviara Resort in Carlsbad. We’re planning to see you there!
Bittman will lead off the 2022 Annual Meeting with a demonstration of the power of music for physical and psychosocial healing. He is a widely-regarded international speaker and researcher who has conducted multiple studies that document the positive effects of integrative medicine with an emphasis on music. His peer-reviewed published scientific research focuses on stress reduction from psychosocial to genomic levels utilizing novel creative musical strategies.
His presentation includes multiple performers, including Mike Garson, legendary pianist for David Bowie, and Drew Tretick, soundtrack violinist who has worked with Tony Bennett, Stevie Wonder and Doc Severinsen.
