Business Journal Extends Invite to HASC Members
The Los Angeles Business Journal invites HASC members to attend the publication’s Wednesday, Aug. 26 Health Care Panel & Awards event.

The Panel & Awards event will feature multiple award nominees from the Southern California health care industry. This year’s individual award nominees include L.A. Care’s John Baackes, CHA Hollywood Presbyterian’s Robert Allen, UCLA Health’s Johnese Spisso and HASC’s own George W. Greene. In total, the event includes more than three dozen nominees each in individual and organizational categories.
“All nominees have made great strides in providing better quality health care,” the Business Journal notes. “It is a privilege to recognize these health care heroes in our Los Angeles market, and all that they do to make a difference in our community every day.”
The live event will also include a distinguished panel that will discuss:
• The current state of health care
• Delivery of care
• COVID-19’s overall impact on businesses in Southern California
