Business Journal Honors NHF as Nonprofit of Year
The Los Angeles Business Journal has recognized HASC charitable affiliate National Health Foundation as its Non-Profit of the Year for 2021.
NHF is incredibly grateful to District 1 Los Angeles City Councilmember Gil Cedillo and his team for their nomination and continued partnership. We are also thankful to the LABJ for their recognition and promotion of a cohort of tremendous nonprofit organizations. We are honored to be among them and even more honored to continue serving our Los Angeles communities.
“For decades, NHF has been a champion for the dismantling of racist policies and unjust systems that preserve health inequities in Los Angeles County and beyond,” Councilman Cedillo said. “As NHF is vital to the health and wellness of whole communities, they are truly deserving of this recognition, and I am proud to call them a trusted partner for progress in Los Angeles.”
“We have so much work ahead, but this month we say thank you to our Board of Directors, our amazing staff, and our multitude of partners as we continue on our mission,” NHF Chief Strategy Officer Danielle Cameron said.
