Cedars-Sinai Boosts Women’s Leadership Event
HASC’s Women in Health Care Leadership Conference ends today following three days of instruction, motivation and inspiration for career-focused women.
As the conference concludes, event organizers HASC and UCI Paul Merage School of Business send an enthusiastic “thank you” to the Cedars-Sinai health system, which joined the event as a principal sponsor last month.
This year’s Women in Health Care Leadership event brought together 40 participants in an online, virtual format — achieving program aims.
Cedars-Sinai’s participation as sponsor allowed organizers to keep tuition fees low. It also helps the event become more widely-known, said HASC Education Program Director Jamila Mayers.
“Cedars-Sinai’s sponsorship has allowed us to keep the program cost well below other university-sponsored certificate programs,” Mayers stated. ”It also furthers the promotion and awareness of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion efforts in health care — helping us build stronger and more diverse health care teams and leaders.”
