The online offering focuses on the role of the nurse leader in creating a collaborative, open and safety-first atmosphere. The course also supports nurse involvement with customer service, continuous survey readiness (CSR) and response to critical events. 

Instructor Mark Kaliher has over 20 years of nursing experience, primarily in the emergency department, where he currently works as a charge nurse at Bear Valley Community Hospital in Big Bear. He is one of FlexEd’s and HASC’s most requested instructors.

Course tuition is $115 per HASC hospital member and $140 per non-acute stakeholder.
