CLC Marks Cherished Futures Milestone

Close to 60 participants joined Cherished Futures for Black Moms & Babies’ one-year anniversary event held Friday, Dec. 11.
Dana Sherrod, Cherished Futures lead and perinatal equity manager with the Public Health Alliance of Southern California, led the event. She emphasized teamwork and collaboration to effect real change improving the lives of Black mothers, their children and their communities.
Cherished Futures is a regional action project administered by HASC’s community health initiative Communities Lifting Communities.
Cherished Futures includes a cohort of five participating hospitals: Antelope Valley Hospital, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, Centinela Hospital Medical Center, Dignity Health-California Hospital Medical Center and Providence Little Company of Mary Medical Center, Torrance.
