Community Health Worker / Promotor Survey Invites Responses Through Wednesday, June 30
UC San Francisco (UCSF), in partnership with HASC and FutureSense, has launched a Community Health Worker/Promotor (CHW/P) Survey. The survey is part of a larger study, approved by UCSF’s Institutional Review Board, examining the CHW/P workforce in California that will inform community stakeholders and support future CHW/P planning efforts in the state.
This survey is important to hospitals because it will provide insight on:
- What hospitals are already doing regarding the CHW/P workforce.
- How partnerships with community organizations are formed and hospitals’ vision for the CHW/P workforce going forward.
The survey will collect data on CHW/Ps on topics ranging from hiring, onboarding, retention, service delivery and outcomes, core job aspects of the position, pay, benefits, mentoring/training and more.
To complete this survey, hospital staff may need to gather data and responses within your organization, including HR and talent acquisition. A standard HRIS file may also be helpful in completing the survey.
Once each participant has gathered the necessary data, we expect that the total time to complete should be approximately one hour.
The survey is open through Wednesday, June 30. Each participating organization will receive a complimentary copy of the survey results when it becomes available.
The data collection will be conducted through HASC’s survey platform Salarity.org.
To access the survey, go to “surveys” drop down, then “surveys” and click on “UCSF Community Health Worker/Promotor Survey.”
