Critical Thinking for Charge Nurses Is Oct. 5
HASC presents its Charge Nurse: Critical Thinking course from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 5 in the Moseley-Salvatori Conference Center at Good Samaritan Hospital in Los Angeles.
Critical thinking is an essential skill for task management and decision making in high-risk situations. The course explores how information analysis can improve quality of thinking, and discusses both the key principles and common barriers to thinking critically. Coursework will also focus on how critical thinking through the nursing process can help staff arrive at appropriate decisions.
