Deadline Approaches for Violence Prevention Compliance

Dear Health Care Executive or Manager:

A new set of Cal/OSHA regulations require all specified care facilities to implement workplace violence prevention plans by April 1. The rules require training for all employees – and must be specific to the hazards of each unit or work role.

HASC endorsed business partner HSS helps facilities and systems implement and maintain these required programs. 

HSS calls its training Techniques for Effective Aggression Management, or TEAM®. A webinar providing information on Cal/OSHA Title 8, Section 3342 and TEAM is offered at no cost on Monday, Feb. 26. To register, please click here.

HSS specializes in health care-centric aggression management and emergency preparedness as well as physical and electronic security to safeguard health care facility staff in the emotionally-charged atmospheres they work in.

TEAM training is presented by certified instructors and online. HSS also offers a “Train the Trainer” program, which lets facilities and systems conserve costs by utilizing their own staff as instructors.
