DEI Conversation Happens This Thursday
To help support hospitals in advancing their diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, HASC invites you to participate in a roundtable discussion from 10 to 11 a.m. this Thursday, Sept. 2.
The event registration link is available here. Feel free to forward this item to others who may be interested.
For this session, we will not be featuring a presenter. Instead participants will engage in a facilitated discussion describing how hospitals and health systems organize their diversity, health equity, and inclusion functions, and key planning considerations. Recent responses to the DEI Organizational Survey conducted via Listserv will be referenced and participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and gain greater insight from colleagues working in this space.
General areas of discussion include:
- DEI structure
- Staff allocation/committee assignments
- Budget and other key considerations
Who Should Participate? Chief Executive Officers, Chief Diversity Officers, Chief Health Equity Officers, Chief Medical Officers, Chief Human Resources Officers, Chief Population Health Officers, or anyone responsible for advancing diversity, health equity and inclusion initiatives in your organization.
To register, please click here. Come prepared to share your thoughts and experiences. We look forward to your participation.
Time: starts at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 2, 2021 (Pacific Time).
