Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Roundtable Is Jan. 7

To help support hospitals in advancing their diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives, HASC invites you to participate in a 60-minute roundtable discussion from 10 to 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan 7.
Participants will hear from Dr. Linda Burnes Bolton, senior vice president and chief health equity officer, and Nicole M.B. Mitchell, chief diversity and inclusion officer, with Cedars-Sinai Health System. The pair will share information on:
- Cedars’ origins and current efforts towards advancing diversity aims.
- Strengthening community partnerships, programs and activities.
- How to use statistics and stories to address health gaps, improve patient care and access.
- Workforce models and examples for advancing diversity and inclusion in hiring and leadership.
During the roundtable discussion, participants will share organizational initiatives and actions implemented, plans for the future and any challenges that the group might be able to help you solve.
Who should participate? CEOs, chief diversity officers, chief health equity officers, chief medical officers, chief human resources officers, chief population health officers, or anyone responsible for advancing diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives in your organization are encouraged to attend.
