Earn a Certificate From UCI Paul Merage School of Business in Women’s Health Care Leadership
Early bird pricing expires Feb. 1.
The Hospital Association of Southern California (HASC) is proud to partner with UC Irvine’s Paul Merage School of Business to host its inaugural Women in Health Care Leadership Conference.
While women represent 65 percent of the health care workforce, they are disproportionately underrepresented at leadership and C-Suite levels. External factors contributing to this imbalance may include unconscious gender bias, stereotypes, discrimination, and organizational processes and systems. There are also internal factors relating to confidence, aspirations, ambitions, ambitions and motivation that may hinder a woman’s advancement to leadership roles.
The Women in Health Care Leadership Conference aims to address many of the internal factors that create barriers for women who currently serve in leadership roles as well as those seeking to advance their careers as leaders. The conference features UCI distinguished faculty along with executive leadership coaches and C-level executives.
During the two-day conference — taking place March 12 and 13 on the UCI Campus in Irvine, attendees will acquire new skills and practical techniques that have real-world application to chart a way forward. The conference is designed for women in health care seeking to advance their careers through leadership, influence, communication and confidence. We invite professionals of all genders who support women in health care leadership.
Reserve your seat today and take advantage of the early-bird price of $1,295 through Feb. 1; CHA/HASC hospital member rate increases to $1,495 after Feb. 1.
