Enrollment Is Open for the Following HASC Education Programs
HASC’s education programs provide a cost and time-effective way for health professionals and staff to enhance their skills. Dates are set for multiple programs, and as of press time space is available:
- Employee Population Health: Cottage Health’s Connect Pilot – The course is held from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. this Thursday, Oct. 4 via webinar. The session outlines the health system’s Employee Resource Connect program, which links employees to food, transportation and behavioral health resources. Learn more and register here.
- Health Care Labor Readiness Program for HR Professionals – The session runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Oct. 22 and 23 (a Monday and Tuesday). The course provides an in-depth focus on procedures introduced by recent National Labor Relations Board rulings and on related issues. Learn more and register here.
- Developing, Measuring and Documenting Employee Competence takes place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 8. The intensive workshop explains The Joint Commission competency assessment standards and shows how managers can develop and redesign content for competency tools. Learn more and register here.
- 2019’s LEAD Academy presents the complete leadership-development curriculum over six full-day sessions on Jan. 25, Feb. 22, March 22, April 19, May 24 and June 21. Learn more and register here.
