HASC Hosts Associate Member Lunch
Ben Caswell (from right) of ACO Advisors and Dina Tank of Health Now Administrative Services listen with other attendees to a welcome and overview by HASC President/CEO George W. Greene at Tuesday’s Associate Member Luncheon.
More than two-dozen attendees representing close to 20 Associate Members filled the board room at HASC’s downtown Los Angeles headquarters for a special luncheon on Aug. 28.
Attendees heard a report on association advocacy and outreach by HASC President/CEO George W. Greene. Senior VP for Reimbursement Policy Paul Young followed with a hospital reimbursement update. Education Services Program Director Jamila Mayers showed associate members around the organization’s new virtual membership directory and Communities Lifting Communities Executive Director Susan Harrington briefed all on the new program’s goals and direction.
HASC offers two categories of associate membership. Associate provider membership is for pre and post-acute health care organizations, including physician organizations, home health, skilled nursing and other facilities. Associate corporate membership is designed for non-hospital organizations including consulting, architectural and law firms, and educational organizations. Both categories give participants access to select educational and networking events, informational publications and other resources.
