The association recently welcomed Darryl Sanford as director of member relations and association services. Sanford brings extensive leadership experience to the role — most recently as the director of marketing and business development at Las Encinas Hospital and at Pacific Grove Hospital. In a new function for the position, he’ll work closely with HASC regional vice presidents and senior executive staff in supporting local advocacy goals — along with the association’s Endorsed Business Partner program. 

“It’s exciting to join this expert team, and I look forward to serving the region’s wide-ranging community of health care professionals,” Sanford said.   

He holds an MBA from Cal Poly Pomona.
