HASC is working to coordinate targeted donations via the Greater Los Angeles Hospital Registry (GLA Hospital Registry), a free online service created to streamline donations to Los Angeles County’s medical centers and hospitals. The GLA Hospital Registry ensures that frontline health care workers at L.A. County hospitals receive exactly what they need during ongoing crisis-response efforts — quickly and efficiently.

Through the program, hospitals can register to seek donations of supplies, food or specific supplies. The website also includes an opportunity to make a cash donation to participating vendors (e.g., restaurants, hotels, suppliers) that sell or donate products.

The registry is a project of the Emergency Supply Donor Group (ESDG) (founded by Ethos Giving and LOOPin) and Philanthropy451. On April 14, ESDG delivered its first donation of 3,000 reusable face shields for frontline health care workers at LAC+USC Medical Center.
