Hospital Finance Seminars Are Offered at Southern California Locations This Month
CHA and HASC invite members to two Southern California events focused on hospital reimbursement, updates to Medi-Cal and Medicare rules and other regulations governing hospital fees and finance.
Set for June 20 and 21, the seminars cover July 1 updates to payment policies, quality assurance fee program updates, the Medicaid Managed Care Final Rule, county reimbursement for mental health patients, a look into the future of Medicare — and more.
The sessions will also consider potential future changes to the existing federal health care framework.
“Congress recently passed legislation that could restructure hospital finance and reimbursement as we know it,” CHA’s website informs members. “Join us for this year’s seminar and get the most up-to-date information.”
The events are presented by Hooper, Lundy & Bookman, PC partners. Joining them are Alyssa Keefe, CHA vice president of regulatory affairs, and Amber Ott, CHA vice president of strategic financing initiatives. Sessions run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and have a tuition of $340 for members and $540 for non-members. The Hilton Los Angeles North/Glendale hosts the Tuesday, June 20 session. The Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa hosts the Wednesday, June 21 session.
