HWI Presents Three-part Workshop Series: Improving Outcomes for Diverse Populations
One of HASC’s workforce partners, the Health Workforce Initiative (HWI) is offering a no-cost, three-part workshop series, Improving Health Outcomes for Diverse Patient Populations: Implicit Bias, Cultural Proficiency, and Language Justice/Access to better equip health care providers and educators to improve health outcomes for diverse patients in ways that are equitable, culturally proficient, and effective across languages. All licensed/unlicensed health care professionals are welcome.
The first workshop on Implicit Bias takes place on March 16 and 18 (seven hours total delivered in two parts at two different times). The remaining sessions occur on May 25 and 27 (Cultural Proficiency) and July 1 (Language Justice/Access). Free Continuing Education Units (CEUs) are available.
