Advanced LEAD Academy is designed to provide leaders more advanced skills than HASC’s basic LEAD Academy. The course held the first of three sessions on April 18; session 2 will take place May 23 and Session 3 on June 29.
Attendance at previous sessions is not required, and the May 23 and June 29 courses are open to a cross section of health professionals.
Feedback from previous attendees has been extremely positive:
“I liked the flow of the class and the fact that it was interactive,” one participant summed up. “It allowed us to bring real-life situations into play.”
When asked about the most salient point made in the class, another attendee responded, “Communicate, communicate, communicate,” the participant said. “It is essential to get buy-in from colleagues. The more you communicate, the more people understand and the more influence you can have.”
