Jan. 17 Webinar: How to Host a Career Diversity Intern This Summer
Research shows that a diverse workforce has a positive effect on patient care. As noted in a recent American Hospital Association study, “organizations that are culturally competent have improved health outcomes, increased respect and mutual understanding from patients, and increased participation from the local community.”
HASC is committed to supporting diverse leadership in health care and has partnered with Health Career Connection (HCC) to offer a College to Career Diversity Internship Program, or CDIP.
On Thursday, Jan. 17, we invite you to participate in a one-hour webinar covering HASC CDIP – a summer internship program that identifies and recruits local, diverse college seniors and recent graduates seeking health care careers and whose interests and skills align with your hospital needs, objectives and projects.
Webinar participants will learn about the benefits and what’s involved in hosting an intern, onboarding timelines and will hear key insights from a champion alum.
The webinar runs from 9 – 10 a.m. on Jan. 17. Space is limited.
Reserve space today by clicking here.
We invite you to visit HASC’s Workforce web page to learn more.
