LEAD Academy Adds IE Class Location
To increase accessibility for Inland Empire health care professionals, the entire, six-day LEAD Academy program will be presented at Riverside University Health System — Medical Center in Moreno Valley this summer and fall.
Sessions there are planned for July 27, Aug. 24, Sept. 21, Oct. 26, Nov. 16 and Dec. 14. The cost is $310 per session for HASC hospital members and $360 per session for non-acute stakeholders. More information, along with a brochure download and registration link, are available at www.hasc.org/education-event/lead-academy-inland-empire-0.
Over the past few years, LEAD classes have been held exclusively at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital in Glendale. They will continue to be held there as well.
LEAD Academy is an intensive six-day, 12-module training experience using innovative tools and experiential learning to empower recently hired, newly appointed or previously untrained health care leaders to better understand and use their strengths.
Designed for health care supervisors and managers, LEAD is built on the underlying principle that effective leadership requires productive relationships to support excellence in patient care, sustainable business objectives and a safe patient environment.
