Leaders Share Mindsets, Insights
On June 13, HASC members met for Leader Mindsets: The Key to Unlocking Effective Leadership. The half-day workshop focused on the importance and responsibility of an optimum mindset to drive leadership success when facing challenges in health care environments.
Dr. Ryan Gottfredson, a leadership and management professor at the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics at Cal State Fullerton, led the day’s learning. Attendees gave the program top ranking in a post-session survey.
Through participant evaluations we have compiled the top insights from the workshop:
-
Leader mindsets are interactive and informational.
The material presented was new leadership information that hasn’t been learned before. -
The breakdown of mindsets and leadership effectiveness.
An organization’s culture conditions employees, leadership drives culture and the mindsets of managers influence leadership. -
The workshop is inspirational.
“As we improve our leadership the culture of the organization begins to change.” The workshop was tailored to the attendees. We should become leaders that others want to follow. -
The tools and suggested resources.
Each participant took a personal mindset assessment to better understand how they can personally drive effective leadership.
