HASC is involved in several regional efforts to address the limited supply of critical and life-saving Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including Logistics Victory Los Angeles (LoVLA) and the SoCal PPE Manufacturing Consortium. To further guide our efforts, we have formed a PPE supply chain task force comprised of hospital supply chain staff who serve as subject matter experts.

The task force is instrumental in identifying appropriate PPE that meets hospital standards. We aim to leverage hospital participation to establish a consortium that enables group purchasing in large quantities.   

If hospitals haven’t done so yet, we ask them to designate at least one supply chain representative who HASC can contact when large bulk purchase opportunities of PPE are presented to us. There is no obligation, however, we want to ensure that all HASC member hospitals are aware of the opportunity.
