Mark Your Calendar for Workforce Advisory Meetings Hosted by HASC!
You are invited to attend an important discussion about workforce needs in the region. As you know, the inadequate supply of qualified workers to fill key positions is a top concern of hospitals across the region. The need for trained and skilled workers has increased dramatically due to Southern California’s diverse and aging population, many of whom have multiple chronic conditions.
Your input will help inform and guide the association in developing a regional, coordinated and aligned workforce strategy that addresses both current and future health care workforce needs.
Meeting Objectives:
- Examine current and future workforce needs and critical shortages
- Discuss hiring, training and retention challenges
- Discuss ways to increase and strengthen school partnerships
- Determine workforce data needs
If you are not personally available to attend, you are encouraged to send someone from your organization who is knowledgeable about these issues. The meeting is free of charge and lunch will be provided. Simply select the meeting that best correlates to your location and register with the link provided below.
