Monterey, San Benito Counties Join ReddiNet

Monterey County and adjacent San Benito County have joined the ReddiNet® emergency services network. With their enrollment, close to 70 percent of California’s population is served by the web-based communications system that reports hospital, patient and emergency event statuses. The system is used by hospitals, EMS, fire, law enforcement and other care providers.
Tourist-destination Monterey County has a population of 415,000 and includes Natividad Medical Center, Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula, George L. Mee Memorial Hospital and Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital. Just inland, San Benito County has a population of 55,000 and includes Hazel Hawkins Memorial Hospital and Mabie Northside Skilled Nursing Facility.
