To support hospitals’ staffing needs during the COVID-19 pandemic, HASC is pleased to announce our partnership with AMN Healthcare to offer a rapid staffing network solution called Medefis. 

Medefis is a vendor management system that comes with a pre-vetted network of nursing, respiratory, and physician contingent personnel. Information on this technology portal is included in the attached flier. Medefis streamlines licensure and universal compliance documentation requirements which will enable clinicians to be mobilized more quickly. Hospitals will be able to request temporary assignments with durations of three weeks or longer through the easy-to-use platform. Operationally, the program will provide stand-alone time capture, standardized invoicing, and financial reporting related to all interactions. Hospitals will have the flexibility to include or exclude certain components of the staffing rate, such as lodging.

We encourage hospitals that want to utilize this solution to quickly join the program. There is no cost for hospitals to utilize the program and there is no requirement to use the program if you find, for any reason, that it cannot meet your needs. AMN has experience quickly onboarding hospitals and can provide additional training and technical assistance to support hospitals as they learn how to best use the AMN technology portal. Facilities may join the program by calling (877) 282-5305 or emailing Doug.Janes@medefis.com.
