NHF’s Bruno Recognized With L.A. City Award

HASC charitable affiliate National Health Foundation President/CEO Kelly Bruno was honored for her commitment and dedication to under-resourced communities in Southern California with an Impact-Maker to Watch Award on Jan. 29. Bruno was one of 32 individuals recognized by the City of Los Angeles at an event held at City Hall. The ceremony kicked off with an address by Mayor Eric Garcetti’s chief of staff, Ana Guerrero, who emphasized the critical steps for community engagement.
The Los Angeles Impact-Maker to Watch Award is an annual distinction that is given to civic leaders for their commitment to uplifting and supporting communities in the Los Angeles area and beyond. Honorees are selected by members of the Los Angeles City Council, Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors and other regional leaders. The annual award celebration is hosted by Stratiscope, an organization that leverages community engagement to support businesses, nonprofits and government agencies to achieve wide-ranging goals.
