The current shortage of nurses in the United States is approaching critical levels, hospital managers say.  The latest figures from the Bureau of Labor Statistics show that 30% of medical staff have been dismissed or dismissed, resulting in a current shortage of about 1.8 million compared to 300,000 before the pandemic.
