Oct. 2 Webinar Spotlights HBA
Employee Coverage Plan Savings
As an informational service to HASC members, Healthcare Benefits Alliance, or HBA, offers a webcast on its unique coverage solutions — which deliver significant savings — from noon to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2.
HBA offers hospitals and health systems access to certain group insurance coverages designed exclusively for the health care industry. Instead of competing with existing brokers, HBA welcomes existing brokers to the program.
Based in Denver, HBA was founded in 1993 by combining the employee benefits purchasing power of two large Midwest Catholic hospital systems. Today more than 950 hospitals and 1 million employees million employees participate – realizing significant cost reduction while enhancing benefits for group life, group short term disability, long term disability, reinsurance, prescription drug programs and other group benefits. The strength, scale and parameters of the HBA creates opportunities for hospitals to increase purchasing power, balance risk, simplify administration and control expenses.
