Madeline Frederick of Children’s Hospital Los Angeles took part in the 2017 PathWays program.

Young health care professionals learn from mentors with the PathWays: Healthcare Policy in Action career development program sponsored by HASC and Health Care Executives of Southern California. Each year, a cohort selected from a pool of candidates attends four sessions where health care leaders share insights and inspiration to propel participants toward their next career objective.

The nomination deadline is now extended to Friday, Aug. 24.

Sessions are held in varying locations throughout Los Angeles. The program includes a combination of expert speaker presentations and interactive participation.

PathWays’ next cohort will hold its first meeting in September. Health care organization managers are invited to nominate early-career employees. Per-participant tuition is $200.
