Posters Send Gratitude to the Front Lines
A pair of Huntington Hospital employees in Pasadena posed with an appreciation poster created by a CHA/Our Health California project aimed at sharing Californians’ gratitude with frontline workers.
Health Care Heroes appreciation posters are arriving at hospitals across the state this month with signatures and personal messages submitted by Californians. The posters are a symbol of the state’s gratitude for the frontline heroes who continue to selflessly care for patients in the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
As result of the statewide campaign to recognize health care workers, more than 15,000 signatures and appreciation messages were submitted. Hospitals are encouraged to prominently display these posters as inspiration to caregivers during these challenging months.
The project asks hospitals to send photos of their poster displays to CHA Assistant Group Vice President, Communications Tracy Campbell at tcampbell@calhospital.org for use in a social media campaign.
