It’s time for many ReddiNet hospitals to upgrade to the new Hughes JUPITER^™ satellite communication system, including those in Alameda, Contra Costa, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino and Ventura counties. ReddiNet customers should complete the upgrade as soon as possible to avoid service delays later this year.

JUPITER technology provides operators higher capacity and increased efficiency for satellite broadband implementation. The new system upgrades will also give customers VoIP capability for up to four phones.

Across the HASC region, more than 80 clients have not yet upgraded their contract to begin the process, which must be completed before the old satellite is decommissioned at the end of this year. Customers who don’t upgrade by then will lose satellite communication capabilities.
