Larry Brilliant, MD, epidemiologist and philanthropist, will open the meeting with lessons learned through the history of pandemics and how these can be applied to worldwide recovery from COVID-19. Brilliant is best known for his work eradicating smallpox in the 1970s. He has been a TED Talk speaker on multiple occasions. Brilliant’s presentation will be followed by a reactor panel discussion.

Leon Logothetis, adventurer, philanthropist and host of the Netflix series, “The Kindness Diaries,” will close the meeting.

Breakout topics include behavioral medicine, thwarting cyber-attacks from a medical perspective, and innovative investments to address social determinants of health — among other topics. Select breakouts qualify for ACHE Face-to-Face credit.
