Refined Assignments, Job Titles Announced for Senior Leadership
Three senior Association managers have new job titles and refined assignments, HASC President/CEO George W. Greene announced this week.
They are Mark Gamble, Chief of Advocacy and Operations; Scott Twomey, Senior Vice President/CFO and President, AllHealth; and Paul Young, Senior Vice President of Public Policy and Reimbursement.
“We recently entered year three of our new phase of leadership at HASC,” President/CEO Greene said. ”I have enjoyed getting to know the staff, its capabilities and strengths. I am also pleased to discover that we have a highly successful, competent and loyal team. Having said that, there are always opportunities for improvement. It is in this spirit that I am announcing some recent organizational staff changes.”
Mark Gamble – Chief of Advocacy and Operations
In addition to most of his current operational responsibilities, Gamble will be responsible for the day‑to‑day management of HASC’s Regional Vice President team. He will provide counsel to this group, help them set goals, manage relationships, develop strategies, set action plans and identify best practices across the region. Gamble has experience as a former RVP, and 25 years of institutional knowledge about HASC and the region that he brings to bear.
Scott Twomey – SVP/CFO and President, AllHealth
In addition to his responsibilities related to ReddiNet and the finances of the Association, its for-profit and foundation subsidiaries (AllHealth and National Health Foundation), Twomey will assume responsibilities for managing HASC’s IT team. He has 40 years’ experience in accounting, 12 of those in high-tech.
Paul Young – SVP of Public Policy and Reimbursement
Young will be broadening his responsibilities to include all public policy issues. In his new role he will continue to support the RVPs’ data and research needs. In addition, Young will be tasked with digging deep into the issues that HASC’s members are facing across the region. His goal will be to get ahead of these issues so that we can take proactive positions and shape the development of policy rather than just react to decisions being made by legislative and regulatory entities. He will also be responsible for the management of the Patient Access Services team. Young has over 20 years in managed care and hospital association experience.
“I am confident that these changes will support HASC’s continued success in advocacy and services for our members,” Greene said.
