HASC members are invited to attend a virtual information session to learn more about the Ambulatory Care RN Specialty Apprenticeship, a new California registered nurse specialty apprenticeship program, set to launch in the first quarter of 2022. The session will be held from 10 – 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 14. To register, please click here.

The Ambulatory Care RN Specialty Apprenticeship is a unique 12-month transition-to-practice program and is designed to prepare new graduate nurses (with less than six months of practice experience) and experienced RNs transferring to a new position in the Ambulatory Care specialty. Enrollment information will be shared during the session.

Representatives from HealthImpact, California’s nursing workforce agency, will share more information on this initiative and answer your questions. 

Nursing, HR, Ambulatory Care Services, and Clinical Operations leaders in the Los Angeles region should consider this program to support the transition of RNs in your organization into the ambulatory care nursing specialty to meet your workforce needs.
