Santa Cruz County Joins ReddiNet
Santa Cruz County’s wild coast sits between Monterey Bay and Half Moon Bay in California’s midsection.
Santa Cruz County has joined the ReddiNet® emergency services network. With this new enrollment, nearly 70 percent of California’s population is now served by ReddiNet, the emergency communications system.
Located 70 miles south of San Francisco, Santa Cruz County is home to 260,000 residents — as well as Dominican Hospital, Watsonville Community Hospital and Sutter Maternity & Surgery Center of Santa Cruz.
“We welcome Santa Cruz County’s first-responders, hospital personnel and residents aboard,” ReddiNet Vice President Soraya Peters said. “With its growing network, which covers close to three-fourths of the state’s population, ReddiNet is the emergency communications standard for all of California.”
ReddiNet is a web-based emergency medical communications system that reports hospital, patient and emergency event statuses. The system is used by hospitals, EMS, fire, law enforcement and other health care providers.
